4 held for harassing woman for dowry in Rajasthan

Four people have been arrested for harassing a woman for dowry. Police have registered an FIR against them after a video showing them beating and dragging the woman went viral on the Internet.

Alwar: Four people of a family, who were demanding dowry, have been arrested for allegedly beating and dragging a woman out of their house, police said.
The incident, which took place in Bhiwadi city of the district, was video recorded and went viral on social media platforms. Police have registered an FIR against the victim's in-laws and are investigating the matter.

It is learnt that the victim's in-laws had been demanding dowry ever since she got married a few years ago. Her family members, who are based in Haryana, had reported the matter to the police earlier also.
