Barmer: Two more people have been arrested in a sexual assault case, wherein a minor girl was allegedly raped by her cousin brother and other relatives a few months ago, police said.
A few days ago, the victim had complained that most of the offenders were still roaming free and had asked the police to arrest them all as soon as possible.
Anand Sharma, SP, Barmer told the media here that two more accused have been arrested in the case and the total arrest in the rape case has gone up to four.
"Two were arrested earlier, now two more have been held and there are two more who are yet to be arrested," he said, adding that the police teams are searching for them and they too would be held soon.
The victim in her FIR had said that her cousin sister forced her to talk on the phone to her husband, following which many other men spoke to her and later threatened her that her conversation with all the men had been recorded and would be made public in case she wouldn't give in to their demands.
They then clicked her picture and used it as a blackmail tool to rape her one after the other on different occasions, she had told the police.
