Sirsa critisises Punjab CM for taking RaGa to Akal Takth Sahib

Akali Dal spokesperson condemned Punjab CM Captain Amrinder Singh's move of taking Rahul Gandhi to the Akal Takth Sahib. Citing the 1984 massacre in a tweet, Sirsa criticised Amrinder for not thinking about the large scale massacre that happened under the Prime Ministership of Rahul's grandmother Indira Gandhi.

Amritsar: Taking a dig at Punjab CM Captain Amrinder Singh, Akali Dal spokesperson Manjinder S Sirsa on Saturday criticised the latter for taking Congress President Rahul Gandhi to Akal Takth Sahib.

In a twitter post, Sirsa said, "Didn’t you even think of the attack on Akal Takht by Indira Gandhi’s order and those thousands of martyrs of 1984 killed by @INCIndia even once??"

Earlier, in the morning, Gandhi along with Captain Amrinder Singh visited the Akal Takth Sahib and offered prayers. He also paid homage to the martyrs of the Jallianwala Bagh tragedy, whose centenary is being observed today.
