Tarn Taran: Punjab police recovered two hand grenades from a motorcyclist who was intercepted during patrolling near Kakka Kandiala village here on Monday night.
The accused, Swaroop Singh of Johal Dhai Wala village, will be produced before the court shortly, police said. Police had also seized a mobile phone and Rs 1300 from him after he was searched on suspicion.
Police had tightened vigil in the area on the occasion of Janmashtami.
