Manjinder Singh Sirsa, Shiromani Akali Dal leader

Delhi Sikh leader Manjinder Singh Sirsa has alleged that Sajjan Singh, who was found to be the convict in the case, allegedly got the FIR misplaced.

It was later said that it was mistakenly lost. The FIR is said to be combined with another FIR filed in 1991. As a result of this, the investigation in the case could not be completed.

In a recent development, the matter was discussed with Home Minister Amit Shah where he assured further investigation.

Sirsa further accused the Congress party of trying to save its leaders who were involved in the case. Sajjan Kumar, however, was sent to jail and is still serving life imprisonment in Delhi Cant violence case.
