Ludhiana: A major fire broke out at a scrap godown in Punjab's Ludhiana on Sunday.
The incident took place in Peeru Banda area of Salem Tabri and the reasons behind the fire are yet to be known.
The area is congested and nearby houses were also put on alert as fire could spread there as well.
There was no casualty or injury reported to anyone so far in the incident.
Fire tenders have reached the spot and firefighting operations are underway.
