Rs 81 lakh unaccounted cash seized from 2 men in Cuttack

Rs 81 lakh unaccounted cash was seized from, two men in Cuttack's Badambadi area on Saturday night. The men claim that they are businessmen and the huge amount of money was for business purpose.

Cuttack (Odisha): Police in Cuttack's Badambadi area detained two persons with Rs 81 lakh unaccounted cash in their possession on Saturday.

According to reports, police arrested the duo when they were spotted with a suspicious-looking bag. Upon searching, Rs 81 lakh in cash was seized from the bag.

The detained men claimed that they were businessmen from West Bangal and the huge amount of cash they were carrying, was for business purposes.

Menwhile, further iunvestigation into the matter is underway.
