Jharsuguda (Odisha): A journalist, formerly associated with ETV network, succumbed to COVID-19 on Sunday. He was 45.
Amjad Badshah, a correspondent from Bolangir and Jharsuguda districts of Odisha, breathed his last at Jai Prakash Hospital in Rourkela.

As per reports, Badshah had tested positive for COVID-19 on April 7 and was admitted to a hospital. He was later shifted to Jai Prakash Hospital in Rourkela.
Badshah worked for print and television media networks in the country. He was the Jharsuguda district correspondent for ETV network from 2014-16. Prior to this, he had also worked as a senior correspondent for ETV network from 2007-09.
