Bhubaneswar: “My advice to other disabled people would be, concentrate on things your disability doesn’t prevent you doing well, and don’t regret the things it interferes with. Don’t be disabled in spirit as well as physically.” These lines by Stephen Hawking resonates with the strength and persistence of Pranati Swain of Bhubaneshwar who is differently-abled yet resolved in her motives.
Since the day Motor Vehicles Act was amended, Pranati took the initiative to spread awareness about traffic rules. She can be seen going on the road and telling people to tie helmet and fasten seat belts.
She also offers chocolates and thank you cards to drivers abiding by the rules. Additional traffic DCP congratulated for her work and said that her initiative is inspiring and it will help spread awareness to people.
