Nagpur (Maharastra): In a bizarre incident, three youth looted 10 litres of milk from an elderly man at gunpoint in Maharashtra's Nagpur city on Tuesday morning.
According to the reports, Ramkrishna Shelke (60) was unloading the trays of milk from a van at around 4 am. In the meantime, three youth riding a black colour scooter arrived at his shop and asked to give 10 litres of milk at gunpoint as they were feeling hungry.
Panic-stricken Shelke obliged their demand and asked if they need money as he was holding Rs 1,000 in his hand. Strangely enough, the youth told Ramkrishna- "No, thanks" and fled away from the spot. Luckily, the 60-year-old milkman noted down the vehicle number and informed the police.
As the youth was holding a gun, Nagpur police reacted promptly and started the investigation.
The police caught all the three youth within an hour with the help of vehicle number provided by the complainant.
After interrogating the youth, they revealed that were hungry and no one would have made breakfast for them at their home. Consequently, they brandish a fake gun at the milkman and looted 10 litres of milk.
Police have registered a case against the three accused and sent them to jail.
