The Lucknow Municipal Corporation (LMC) had raised Rs 200 crore in the bond issue last month, and the state government feels the same route can be adopted by other cities like Ghaziabad, Varanasi, Agra and Kanpur.

On the eve of Yogi Adityanath's visit, Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray held an online conference on behalf of the Indian Merchant Chamber of Commerce.
On this occasion, Chief Minister Thackeray said, "Maharashtra is a magnetic state. Maharashtra still attracts entrepreneurs. No industry will go out in the state, if you become the brand ambassador of Maharashtra and tell other entrepreneurs, entrepreneurs from other states will also come to Maharashtra for the industry."
"It is a matter of great pleasure that the Indian Merchant Chamber of Commerce is taking the initiative for Magnetic Maharashtra. The word magnetic has great power. Maharashtra has a history. Maharashtra is a completely separate state. There are different rites here. So no one can come here and take anything. We are not afraid of competition. But if someone is going to pull something out from here, it will not be possible," said Thackeray.
Meanwhile, Aslam Sheikh, the Cabinet Minister of Maharashtra said, "The Modi government at the Center has been trying to downplay Mumbai for the last several years. Such attempts have already been made. But their efforts have been failed. Therefore, Yogi should first facilitate Bhojpuri films in Uttar Pradesh."
"Mumbai is a city that accommodates people of all castes, religions and provinces. That is why industries and businesses have flourished here. There is no such fear-free environment in Uttar Pradesh. There is a disturbance of law and order. Therefore, first, create a fear-free environment in Uttar Pradesh like Maharashtra, then dream of taking the industries and Bollywood industry to Uttar Pradesh," said Sheikh.
Sachin Sawant, general secretary and spokesperson of the Maharashtra Pradesh Congress Committee said, "This may be an attempt to intimidate entrepreneurs and Bollywood producers. Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray and the Mahavikas Aghadi government should take care of the security of entrepreneurs in the state as well as Bollywood."
