WATCH: Camel safaris come to standstill amid lockdown

Vishal Shinde from here owns four camels and is currently facing a standstill in his business as tourism is affected amid the lockdown to combat COVID-19. Unfortunately, apart from feeding his family, Vishal is also finding it difficult to feed his camels.

Dhule (Maharashtra): Amid the lockdown to combat COVID-19, when the nation has entered the fourth phase, people from all business are experiencing losses. One such case is of Vishal Shinde, from here. He owns four camels and is residing at Ganpatipule for over 15 years now.

He used to earn his livelihood with camel safaris for the tourists who visit the place. Initially, camel rides for tourists were available in Goa, it was just a few years ago that the Konkan region also started providing this service to the visitors.

Unfortunately, with the business being almost standstill, apart from feeding his family Vishal is also finding it difficult to feed his camels.

The only thing that the Shinde family can now do is wait till the day when the lockdown comes to an end and then hope to carry out their business smoothly without any hurdles or restrictions.
