Nagpur: A two-year-old boy who fell into a 50-feet-deep borewell at Ramtek village in Maharashtra's Nagpur district, was rescued on Thursday evening. As per reports, the victim has been identified as Deva Donda. He fell into the borewell while playing with a few other kids.
"We were working in the nearby fields. As soon as we came to know about the incident, we rushed to the spot and launched the rescue operation. With the help of locals and Jeevan Suraksha Sanghatan, we were finally able to rescue the child safely," said Krushna Patil, a native of the village.
He said that the child was rushed to the hospital where he was being treated.
