Mumbai: As the race for the post of assembly speaker is going on in Maharashtra, there are speculations of a reshuffle to be made in the cabinet by the three parties. Leaders from all parties in the MVA have denied the rumours, but sources have said that these changes could be seen in future.
Battle between Patole and Raut?
Sources said that a battle has started in Congress between party state president Nana Patole and Minister Nitin Raut. Patole, who left the assembly speaker post after taking the charge of party state president, now wants the Energy ministry of Raut. The duo is in touch with the high command over the issue, sources said. So, how the high command handles the situation is important to see.
Two new faces from Congress
Sources also said that congress would induct two new faces in the cabinet from their quota. Amin Patel, Praniti Shinde, Nasim Khan are the leaders who are interested in the ministerial post, sources said.

NCP would fill the Excise ministry
After the resignation of former home minister Anil Deshmukh, Dilip Walse-Patil took over the charge of the post. This resulted in deputy CM Ajit Pawar taking temporary control of Patil's Excise ministry. NCP could fill this ministry from their quota, said sources.
Shivsena would fill forest ministry
Shivsena could fill the Forest ministry from its quota. This ministry is held by CM Uddhav Thackeray now. This ministry went to CM after former minister Sanjay Rathore resigned from the post after he faced allegations in the suicide case of a girl. Sources said, Ravindra Vaykar, Bhaskar Jadhav, Ashish Jaiswal, Pratap Sarnaik, Prakash Abitkar are interested in the ministry.
