Pune (Maharashtra): Wablewadi Zilla Parishad School in Pune has successfully implemented a new and successful education system. Following which, Wablewadi Zilla Parishad School has been appreciated by the world for their concept of Group Home Schooling wherein students are playing the role of teachers by teaching students in the area.
434 students from 30 villages studying in Wablewadi Zilla Parishad School of Shirur taluka have been imparted education through group-home-schooling at 34 places in their villages near their home. The teachers were also guided through video calling. Parents participated enthusiastically and the barrier amid the lockdown between children's education has been done away with.

Mobile networks are not available in many places in rural areas. Parents of many students do not have smartphones. Due to this online classes were not a feasible option for many. In this concept of homeschooling initiative involving student-parent-teacher, the students in the group have started imparting lessons to children. Teachers stood up to help the parents and meanwhile students got the option of better education.
Under the guidance of teachers, the students are using the latest technology of the education system to teach as a teacher would. As a result, the first-year students have been able to take the lessons of the seventh grade.
On this occasion, it has to be said that the education system run in Wablewadi school under the guidance of teachers by following the rules of social distancing despite the outbreak of Coronavirus is setting an example for every school in the country.
