Leopard rescued by forest officials in Pune

A leopard was rescued after it fell into a well in Ambegaon district of Maharashtra. Later, it was shifted to Manikdoh Leopard Rescue Center for treatment.

Pune: A 3-year-old leopard was rescued from a well by forest officials in Maharashtra's Ambegaon district.

The incident occurred on Tuesday in Kadewadi village of Ambegaon in Pune, official sources said.

The rescue team reached the spot after it was informed by a rescue volunteer about the leopard being trapped in the well.

The leopard was later shifted to Manikdoh Leopard Rescue Center for treatment, they added.
