Mumbai (Maharashtra): The Income Tax Department on Thursday continued the survey at the actor Sonu Sood's house in Mumbai, after reported survey at his offices that ended late last night.
IT officials are investigating Sonu Sood's property deal with a Lucknow-based real estate company.
According to the sources, a recent deal between Sonu Sood's company and a Lucknow-based real estate firm is under scanner. The survey has been initiated on allegations of tax evasion on this deal.
On Wednesday, Income Tax officials surveyed for more than twenty hours at six locations linked to the actor, including the office of his charity based at his home in Juhu.
Meanwhile, the BJP has denied that the surveys were politically driven.
BJP's Maharashtra MLA Ram Kadam said, "If any central agency takes any action, the entire opposition along with Congress calls it political. Should these agencies stop working? These operations are transparent."

The actor grabbed the national spotlight for helping migrants reach their home states during the nationwide lockdown clamped last year in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The raid comes days after the Delhi government, led by Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, had declared that 48-year-old Sood will be the brand ambassador of the Aam Aadmi Party government's 'Desh ka mentors' programme under which students will be guided in making their career choices.
