Mumbai: The Indian Medical Association Maharashtra opposed the Coronil kit and wrote a letter to the centre in this regard.
The IMA is at loggerheads with Baba Ramdev and his Patanjali enterprise and the dispute turned intense after Baba Ramdev's statement that many died due to allopathy treatment.
The chapters of the association from various parts of the country have been registering police complaints against Ramdev. Uttarakhand IMA earlier warned that a 1000 crore rupee suit will be filed against him and IMA also demanded the government to cancel the drug license to Patanjali.
