A sweet-shop in Thane is selling gold-covered sweets. The Prashant Corner is selling a different range of these gold sweets and it has been named 'VIP Mithai' which is wrapped in a gold foil. A kilogram of this sweet costs ₹11,000.

These sweets are available in different shapes and made of fruits, gulkhand, and other different materials.

If you thought this was a bit too expensive for a simple sweet, the people buying it will probably prove you wrong. People have apparently been buying 500 grams or more of this sweet from Prashant Corner.

So this Diwali, if you are looking to gift a different mithai to your friends and relatives- this looks like quite a rare one!

Intro:Tठाण्यात 11 हजार रुपये किलोच्या सोन्याच्या मिठाईची जोरदार मागणीBody:देशात एकीकडे आर्थिक मंदी वातावरण असताना दुसरीकडे सोन्याच्या वस्तूंना प्रचंड मागणी दिसून येतेय. मग ते सोन्याचे दागिने असोत किंवा सोन्याची मिठाई. होय ठाण्यात सोन्याची मिठाई बनवण्यात आली आहे जिचा भाव देखील सोन्या सारखाच आहे. तब्बल 11 हजार रुपये किलोने ही मिठाई विकली जातेय. सोन्याचा भाव गगनाला भिडलेला असताना, सोने खरेदी देखील होत आहे मात्र सोन्याची मिठाई देखील महाग असून ग्राहकांची तितकीच मागणी आहे. ठाण्यातील प्रशांत कॉर्नर या मिठाईच्या दुकानात ही मिठाई बनवली गेलीये. या सोन्याच्या मिठाईला खास आकर्षक अशी बॉक्सची पॅकिंग देखील करण्यात आली आहे. या मिठाईच्या जे जिन्नस वापरले आहेत ते देखील उच्च प्रतिचे महागडे असे असल्याने सोन्याची मिठाई अतिशय महाग आहे.
मागील अनेक वर्षांपासून ही मिठाई दिवाळी मधे तैयार केली जाते आणि टीला ठाणे कर चांगला प्रतिसाद देखील देत आहेत कही वर्षपूर्वी ही मिठाई आयकर खात्याच्या राडार वर देखील आली होती
