Pune (Maharastra): A fire broke out on Friday at the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER), a premier public research institution in Pune, Maharashtra.
Four fire tenders were rushed to the spot to douse the fire. Relief work was hampered due to excessive smoke in the building.
The exact cause of the fire has not been ascertained. No casualties have been reported so far.
