Thane (Maharashtra): At least seven people were killed and four others feared trapped, after slabs of a five-storey building collapsed in Thane's Ulhasnagar late on Friday night.

"Seven bodies have been recovered from the debris of a building so far. Rescue operation is being carried out to save those who are still feared trapped under the debris.

On May 15, a similar slab collapse at an illegal building in the Ulhasnagar township had claimed five lives.
