Chhindwara (MP): In a video that has now gone viral on social media, Congress MLA from Madhya Pradesh, Vijay Choure, can be purportedly seen sending out a direct threat to BJP leaders.
According to reports, Choure, the Congress legislator from Sausar, had invited party workers at his residence for a programme on the occasion of Shivaji Jayanti Yesterday.
In the video, Choure can purportedly be heard threatening BJP leaders, saying that people from the Congress would not back down even if it came to "flaying" their opponents.
However, it is to be noted that ETV Bharat cannot vouch for the veracity of the video clip.
"People from the BJP, we are ready for everything. We are Congressmen, we do not indulge in illegal activities... You want to stay in power, and indulge in illegal activities, but malign the Congress?" he purportedly says.

"Nobody from the Congress will tolerate this anymore. People from the BJP, the day you try to raise a finger towards any Congressman, or even try to touch him, I want to say, we will leave no stone unturned even if we have to flay you," he adds.
Earlier this month, a controversy had erupted over removal of a bust of Chhatrapati Shivaji by the local
administration in Sausar town, with the BJP accusing the ruling Congress of "insulting" the "pride of the nation" with the act.
The bust, which was reportedly placed on a platform at Mohgaon Square intersection without any permission, was removed. The bust was reportedly put up by some local saffron organisations.
Following the incident, the opposition BJP demanded apology from Chief Minister Kamal Nath, who hails from Chhindwara district, where Sausar is located.
Vijay Choure later said that Sausar municipality has approved a proposal to re-install the bust at the same intersection.
