A suspected coronavirus patient in Madhya Pradesh tested negative. According to reports, the youth returned from China on January 25, and was checked for the noval virus at a district hospital.

Morena: A suspected coronavirus patient in Morena district of Madhya Pradesh, who refused to stay in isolation during the incubation period, has tested negative for the noval virus, which has so far claimed over 1,000 lives in virus-hit China.

According to reports, the youth returned from China on January 25, and was checked for the virus at a district hospital.

Although the blood samples came back negative, the patient was advised to remain in isolation.

However, the youth, Gaurav Sikarwar, a resident of Tor Tilwali stayed in his village and came in contact with villagers.

After receiving the information, the state health department sent an investigation team to the village and examined all the members of his family. All the tests came back negative.

The number of fatalities from new coronavirus epidemic jumped to 1,113 in China on Wednesday after hard-hit Hubei province reported 94 new deaths.
