Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate from Bhopal parliamentary constituency of Madhya Pradesh, Sadhvi Pragya Thakur attacked her Congress counterpart Digvijay Singh calling him a terrorist. She stated this while inaugurating her election campaign office in Sehore on Thursday.
Pragya Thakur said, "16 years ago a sanyasi like Uma Didi defeated him and Congress government didn't come to power for the next 16 years. Once again a Sanyasi is fielded to end terrorism."
Taking a dig at Singh, Pragya said, "During his tenure as chief minister, he took away Sehore's sugarcane business to Guna because of which the people of Sehore were rendered unemployed."
Lok Sabha elections in Madhya Pradesh will be held in four phases on April 29, May 6, 12 and 19.
Counting of votes will take place on May 23.
