Bhopal: Can you believe a man named after a state? A man hailing from Dhar district of Madhya Pradesh is named 'Madhya Pradesh Singh'.
'Madhya Pradesh Singh' a visiting professor by profession, teaches geography in Jhabus's Shaheed Chandrashekhar Azad College.
Since he is a 'state', then there must be a capital of the state. So, he named his son as 'Bhopal'.
His wife Kiran said that she takes pride in her husband's and son's name. She added that many leaders and people come to visit the family because of their unique names.
Narrating their story, Kiran mentioned that the duo used to study in the same college. At first, she was surprised to know about his name but later, it was the key point that impressed her and made her more curious to know about him.
Some poke fun at him and some ask for identity proof, but Madhya Pradesh loves his name. He says being one of a kind, his name also brings him praise and compliments.
Though Pradesh got fame with his name, sometimes it put him in great trouble too. One day he forgot to bring his driving license. When the Traffic Police asked his name. He told 'My name is Madhya Pradesh', he got angry as he thought Mr Pradesh is making fun of him.
Later, after showing his Aadhar card to the traffic police he replied with a big smile over his face, "go Madhya Pradesh and attend your college."
