Ratlam: A married woman was allegedly gang-raped by relatives of her ex-husband and forced to consume poison in Ratlam district. According to reports, the woman was found unconscious along with her three-year-old child near Taal police station on Tuesday.
The police have arrested four of the five accused in the case including her ex-husband. The woman was later hospitalised and her condition remains stable.
Speaking to ETV Bharat, Superintendent of police, Ratlam, Gaurav Tiwari said that four have been arrested for their involvement and FIR has been filed against five people, including a woman.
All the accused except the woman who is absconding have been arrested. Further investigations are underway.
