BJP MP Sadhvi Pragya in AIIMS with breathing difficulties

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP Sadhvi Pragya's health deteriorated suddenly on Friday night after and she was sent to Delhi. Her Covid-19 test came negative, but due to difficulty in breathing, she remains in the hospital. Due to this, the MP could not appear in a special NIA court in Mumbai on Saturday.

Bhopal: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP Sadhvi Pragya on Friday night was admitted to AIIMS, Delhi after she complained of shortness of breath.

Her health deteriorated suddenly on Friday night after which she was sent to Delhi. Her Covid-19 test came negative, but due to difficulty in breathing, she is still admitted in the hospital.

Due to this, the MP could not appear in a special NIA court in Mumbai on Saturday.

Sadhvi is a BJP MP from Sehore Lok Sabha constituency of Bhopal and came into the limelight after the 2008 Malegaon blasts. She was also arrested for the same and the hearing was to take place on Saturday for which the trial court of Mumbai had asked Pragya and other accused to be present in the court during the hearing.

Earlier this month too, all the accused were asked to appear before the court but four accused did not show up. This is the second time in this hearing when MPs have not appeared in the court.

Pragya Thakur is currently kept in the private ward of AIIMS, the team of senior doctors is constantly monitoring. According to the information, her blood pressure was high. It is being told that after giving the medicine, the condition of Sadhvi has improved and is now stable.
