MP govt issues order to reinstate suspended medical staff amid rising COVID cases

As citizens are grappling with the second wave of coronavirus, the Madhya Pradesh government has decided to reinstate suspended nursing and paramedical staff. State Health Commissioner Akash Tripathi ordered the reinstatement of suspended staff to overcome the shortage of staff amid the pandemic.

Bhopal: In the wake of spurt in cases of coronavirus across the country, the Madhya Pradesh government has decided to reinstate suspended nursing and paramedical staff.

State Health Commissioner Akash Tripathi ordered the reinstatement of suspended staff to overcome the shortage of staff amid the pandemic.

The order also says that appropriate action will be taken against at least 186 doctors, who recently completed their internships but did not join the duty.

Earlier, the order was issued to 235 doctors to join the duty after completion of their internships but only 49 joined.

Health Commissioner Akash Tripathi has written a letter in this regard to Medical Education Commissioner Nishant Varvade.

It is worth mentioning here that on April 13, the state government had decided to appoint medical staff and policemen on a contract basis. This contract appointment is to be given till 31 July 2021.
