Three senior IPS officers would be representing India at the 88th International Criminal Police Organization (INTERPOL) General Assembly in Santiago, Chile.

Bhopal: Three senior IPS officers would be representing India at the 88th International Criminal Police Organization (INTERPOL) General Assembly in Santiago, Chile.

The three officers include two Madhya Pradesh cadre -- DGP V K Singh and former DGP Rishi Kumar Shukla, who is now CBI director.

Commissioner of Delhi Police, Amulya Patnik will also be accompanying them in Interpol's 88th General Assembly in South America's Chile.

DGP V K Singh will be representing India among 195 countries in Interpol's 88th General Assembly meet which is to be held from 14 to 18 October.

Police chiefs and security experts from around the world will gather in Chile's Santiago to address a range of security issues.

In the assembly meet, National and Regional efforts in combating terrorism, crime and cybercrime with operational support from INTERPOL will be addressed along with other discussions on security issues.

Every year the General Assembly meet is organised by INTERPOL's supreme governing body in different countries to discuss matters affecting general policy, working methods and other activities.

It comprises delegates appointed by the government of member countries.

In the year 2022, the 91st INTERPOL's general assembly will be held in New Delhi, India.

The assembly is supposed to be a part of the nation’s 75th Independence Day celebrations.

Intro:भोपाल- मध्य प्रदेश पुलिस के मुखिया वीके सिंह 195 देशों के सामने भारत का प्रतिनिधित्व करेंगे। डीजीपी वीके सिंह साउथ अमेरिका के चिली सैंटियागो के लिए रवाना भी हो गए हैं। इसके अलावा इस इंटरपोल असेंबली में मध्य प्रदेश के पूर्व डीजीपी और वर्तमान में सीबीआई चीफ ऋषि कुमार शुक्ला भी शामिल होंगे। इस आयोजन में देश से तीन अफसर चुने गए हैं। जिनमें से दो अफसर मध्य प्रदेश काडर के हैं।


Body:मध्य प्रदेश के डीजीपी वीके सिंह आज साउथ अमेरिका चिली सेंटियागो के लिए रवाना हो गए हैं। डीजीपी यहां 14 से 18 अक्टूबर तक आयोजित होने वाली 88वी इंटरपोल जनरल असेंबली में देश का प्रतिनिधित्व करेंगे। इस असेंबली में भेजे जाने के लिए केंद्रीय गृह मंत्रालय ने सिर्फ तीन अफसरों का चयन किया है। जिसमें से दो अफसर मध्यप्रदेश काडर के हैं। दुनिया भर से पुलिस अफसर और सुरक्षा विशेषज्ञ, सुरक्षा मुद्दों की एक श्रंखला को संबोधित करने के लिए चिली सेंटियागो में एकत्रित होंगे। जिसमें आतंकवाद, संगठित अपराध, साइबर अपराध से निपटने में राष्ट्रीय और क्षेत्रीय प्रयासों पर चार दिनों तक चर्चा की जाएगी।
