Renu Mittal stated that police refused to file her complaint and she has been wandering on the streets in the past month seeking justice.
Mittal, who is a businesswoman and owns a steel factory in Ambikapur, met Vijay Galgat while he was searching for a job in 2016.
She placed him in her factory and later moved into a live-relationship with him.
"Sometime back, he left her and returned to his hometown in Madhya Pradesh's Kishanpur on August 20," Mittal said.
She also stated that even his family members are having suspicious involvement and they are not letting her stay with them.
She alleged that the family members of Vijay have tried to sell her for Rs five lakh to a person from Pune and also accused her of robbery.
Raisen Superintendent of Police Dr Monica Shukla said that the woman met her and appealed for an enquiry.
"Directions have been given to the Devnagar police station to register an FIR under relevant charges against the complaint of the woman," Raisen SP said.
