Indore: Indore Special Task Force (STF) is interrogating the two arrested for allegedly cheating National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) aspirants of Rs 5 crore on the promise of securing them MBBS seats.
The accused are from Mumbai and have cheated multiple people in Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan by taking lakhs of rupees on the pretext of getting them admission in government medical colleges.
At present, the STF team is investigating the seized the laptop and other documents.
In a preliminary inquiry, data of more than 2000 students have been found from the accused which was used to cheat the medical aspirants.
A racket of foreign medical graduates has also been unearthed where details of students being sent abroad have been found. It is being investigated very closely.

Various bank accounts of the accused are under scanner after crores of rupees were found in one of the accounts. It has also been found that the accused was getting money from different states.
The police are engaged in questioning the accused in this regard who was on Wednesday presented in the court as their remand ended. It has been extended till January 22.
