Chhindwara: Former Chief Minister and Rajya Sabha MP Digvijay Singh, who reached Chhindwara for the wedding of former Minister PC Sharma's son took a dig at Prime Minister Narendra Modi and All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) chief and MP Asaduddin Owaisi.
He said that Modi and Owaisi's party is allied and working together to spread hatred in the country.
Talking about love jihad bill, Singh said that if love jihad ends unemployment issues of this country or improves the economy or people become more harmonious and the state harmony increases then we do not mind. But to hide the poor state of the economy and the failure of his government, PM makes all the issues as Hindu-Muslim issue.
In this, Hindu fundamentalist forces and Muslim fundamentalist forces also join in together to spread hatred in the country.
Singh alleged due to the agreement Modi makes Owaisi deliver provocative speeches in favour of Muslims so that Hindus can hate them fulfilling their agenda.
On the farm laws brought by the Modi government, Digvijay Singh termed the law 'black'.
"The Modi government is making all efforts to eliminate the PDS system under which ration is given to the poor people and MSP, that guarantees the farmers get minimum support price," he said.

Talking about upcoming civic body elections, Digvijay Singh said that preparations are going on for which State President Kamal Nath is in charge.
The reservation process for the upcoming civic body elections has been completed with the next mayor in Bhopal and Khandwa to be from OBC women's category.
Apart from this, general category women mayors will be made in Gwalior, Burhanpur, Sagar, Katni and Dewas
In Jabalpur, Singrauli, Rewa and Indore all candidates will be able to contest elections. These four municipal corporations have been declared unreserved.
On Wednesday, in the presence of the City Administration and Development Commissioner, the process of reservation of urban bodies took place in Ravindra Bhavan, Bhopal. During this time, officials of many political parties were also present.
Reservation for Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes for the position of Mayor in Municipal Corporation has been done according to population. Whereas the OBC reservation was done with a value of 25 per cent.
