Dhar (Madhya Pradesh): Two persons suffered burn injuries when a massive fire broke out in a liquor factory at Lebar village of Madhya Pradesh's Dhar city on Sunday evening.
According to sources, the incident took place this evening when some workers were inside the factory.
The flames were so high that people from nearby came out and supported the rescue operations.
Immediately, locals rescued the injured duo and rushed them to the Dhar DHH for treatment.
On information, the Dhar police rushed to the spot and alerted the fire department. The fire tenders were rushed to the spot and the flames were doused.
The extent of damage suffered by the factory could run into lakhs of rupees, sources said.
While the actual cause of the blaze is yet to be ascertained, police suspect that the spirit drums inside the factory caught fire from the nearby welding workshop.
The officials are investigating the matter.
