Panna: A male tiger is taking care of the cubs after the death of the tigress in the Panna Tiger Reserve, Madhya Pradesh. The male tiger is not only caring for the cubs but is also bringing food for them. The tigress P-213 died on May 15. After that her four orphaned cubs had suddenly disappeared.
The Panna Tiger Reserve management was also searching for the cubs. However, a video came out from the Panna Tiger Reserve, surprising everyone. In the video, the male tiger P-243 was seen feeding his cubs.
The video has been released by the Panna Tiger Reserve management. According to Panna Tiger Reserve officials, these cubs are 6-8 months old and they are monitoring them.

In the video, all four cubs can be seen over rocks. Regarding the video, Uttam Kumar Sharma, Regional Director, Panna Tiger Reserve said the male tiger P-243 is the father of these cubs. The Director further added that it is very rare to see a male tiger taking responsibility for cubs.

Currently, the Panna Tiger Reserve management has started collecting GPS satellite data and tracking the movement of the male tiger using a GPS collar device. Madhya Pradesh is also known as the 'tiger state' in the country after 526 tigers were reported according to the 2018 census.
