New Delhi: The relationship of 'rebellion' and 'Chambal' started years ago when whatever used to happen in Delhi had a direct impact on Chambal. When the Tomar rule ended in Delhi, the royal family sought refugee in Chambal. At the same time, Malwa's ruler removed the Samant of Dholpur who then with his soldiers came to Chambal where the locals helped him in his fight. Thus starting the long relationship of 'rebellion' and 'Chambal'.

The 'palaces' never supported the revolt, but always 'suppressed' it. Earlier, as the revolt took place against the 'palaces' for their self-respect gradually the people also harboured such 'self-respect'. Now with the changing times, the people living in the 'palaces' also started adopting a rebellious attitude.

For the same reason, Jyotiraditya Scindia who shares a lineage from the Chambal thought leaving the Congress after a rebellion. The reason being the Congress party's high command in Delhi. When Scindia joined the BJP, 22 MLAs with him had left the Congress. Of these, 19 MLAs belonged to the Scindia camp, while three MLAs, Edal Singh Kanshana, Bisahu Lal and Hardeep Singh Dung, had suggested a path of rebellion by the BJP. Among them, Kanshana is from Chambal.

The question is now arises is has Chambal changed much? Is rebellion still preferred or not?

It is important to see this because when former CM Kamal Nath was in Chambal campaigning for elections and he said that Chambal tolerates everything. Chambal region is hot-blooded, can put up a fight and cannot be sold easily. There is a revolt in Chambal's water, but there's no place for a traitor here, anyone who betrayS Chambal, it never forgives him.

Did Kamal Nath mistake rebellion for a traitor? Or did he fail to understand the people of Chambal. Whatever that may be, it is clearly visible from the election result that rebellious attitude is being cheered in Chambal. Out of 19 candidates who are pro-Scindia, 6 candidates have lost the election, while 13 have won. This has strengthened their position, but the arrival of Congress seats in Chambal has also led to a stain.

The public decides in democracy. In the decision which has come, a by-election was held in 16 seats of Chambal. One of the seats was vacant after the death of Jaura MLA, while the by-election was held on 15 seats due to the rebellious nature. Of this, the Congress has got seven seats in the account, while eight candidates who have contested from the Congress to BJP have won the election.

The matter was considered by people whose 'revolt' was right. Among them, Pradyunm Singh who contested with the BJP by rebelling from the Congress has won from Gwalior seat. Kamlesh Jatav won from Ambah seat by 13,892 votes, Raksha Sironia from Bhander won by only 161 votes, defeating Phool Singh Baraiya. OPS Bhadoria from Mehgaon got around 45 per cent votes and Suresh Dhakad from Pohri seat won by 22,496 votes. Kailash Kushwaha of BSP lost to them. Here the Congress reached the third position. Brijendra Singh Yadav won from Mungavali seat, this was his third consecutive victory. Mahendra Singh Sisodia won from Bamori assembly seat by 53,153 votes. He had earlier won from the Congress in this seat. Then the victory was by 27920 votes, ie this time people have given more support. Jajpal Singh Jajji succeeded for the second time from Ashoknagar seat. In 2018, when he stood up from the Congress, the BJP was prevented from coming to power. Now when he was contesting from BJP, the Congress defeated Asha Dohar.

Now let's talk about those who came from Congress to BJP and lost and whose rebellion was outright rejected by the public. The first name in this is that of Imarti Devi from Dabra. When Kamal Nath spoke unparliamentary words for her, the BJP benefited from this. But she could not reap those benefit herself. The special thing was that the Dabra seat has always been Congress. Imarti Devi was made a three-time MLA by Congress voters. But perhaps she had forgotten that Congress here does not vote for Imarti Devi. Dabra had 66.72 per cent of the votes. On this, Congress candidate Suresh Raje got 49.4 per cent votes, while Imarti Devi got 44.4 per cent. It is clear that the public did not like the rebellious nature of Imarti Devi. Jasmant Jatav's rebel from Karaira also failed. He had to face defeat. Here won Pragilal Jatav, who was earlier in BSP. As soon as he entered Congress, his fate was revealed.

Munna Lal Goyal lost the election from Gwalior East seat, the difference of vote was also very high. He lost by about 8,555 votes. Jyotiraditya Scindia will always win from this seat as the palace where he lives falls in this assembly constituency. Girraj Dandotia lost the election from Dimni. Congress wins for the second time in Dimni. Dandotia's rebellion was similar to that of Imarti Devi. The people here were with the Congress earlier too and stayed this time too. Dandotia lost even after being a minister.

Edal Singh Kanshana was defeated by Sumavali. However, he did not join the BJP with Scindia. BJP had more hand in breaking them. He also became a minister after joining the BJP. Ajab Singh Kushwaha won on these. Those who had previously contested elections from BSP and BJP, but lost. Ranveer Singh Jatav also lost from Gohad seat. They had to stay in Congress because only Congress won from here. There was no rebel on the Jaura seat. Subedar Singh Rajaudha of BJP won here.

After Morena, the public here rebelled against their MP only. Union Minister Narendra Singh Tomar also comes from here. Also, the effect of Scindia is believed to be on this seat. The public has transformed both of them into myths. The magic of both did not work. From here, Rakesh Mavai of Congress won the elections with 5,751 votes. BJP's Raghuraj Kanshana lost the election. BSP had made the seat here interesting. Narendra Singh Tomar will definitely have the pain of not blooming lotus in Morena. He got 5,41,689 (47.63 per cent) votes in the Lok Sabha elections 2019. Congress was the second party. It got 37.66 per cent votes, while BSP was third. The BSP received 11.38 per cent votes.

When Shivraj Singh Chauhan was campaigning in this area and Narendra Singh Tomar was with him. Shivraj Singh had also repeatedly told the public that Tomar saheb sits next to PM Modi. The public had realized that development would take place only if they put Morena's seat in BJP. But the rebellious people rebelled against the BJP and supported the Congress. After all, rebellion has always been prevalent here.
