Indore: Madhya Pradesh health officials are looking for 32 United Kingdom returnees who landed in Indore and are now untraceable. A total of 125 passengers reportedly came back from the UK, where a new, deadlier strain of coronavirus is widespread.
Of them, 93 passengers have been screened for COVID-19, however, others remain absent, keeping officials on their toes.
According to the bulletin issued by the Health Department of Indore, 33 passengers from England, Scotland, Wells arrived here on 22 December. After this, on 23 December, there were reports of 129 passengers arriving. However, in the investigation of all the passengers, information about 41 passengers was repeated and two of them are said to be from Madhya Pradesh's Dewas, and two other are relatives.
In this way, 125 passengers have arrived from Britain in the last few days in Indore.

MP writes letter to foreign minister
While 32 passengers are being searched through mediums apart from contact racing, Indore MP Shankar Lalwani has written a letter to the Foreign Minister and sought information regarding them.
Travelers who have returned from Britain are said to be residents of different regions of Indore.
The highest number of all 125 passengers are from Tilak Nagar (11) Bhavarkuan, Tukoganj and Vijay Nagar (10-10), Juni Indore (9), Annapurna (8) MIG police station area (7).
So far 93 passengers have been identified, including 2 from Dewas district. At present, everyone has been home-quarantined and their samples have been taken for tests.
