Two temples robbed of cash and idols in Malappuram

Cash from Paradevata temple and 5 golden souvenir and 15 silver pieces worth ₹2.5 lakh, were stolen from Shiva temple in Malappuram on Saturday. The police have started the investigation.

Malappuram: A case of theft in two temples was reported in Malappuram on Saturday.

The two temples are at a distance of 2kms to each other.

Two temples robbed of cash and idols in Malappuram

Cash was stolen from Paradevata temple, situated near to Calicut University Botanical Garden.

Five golden souvenir and 15 silver pieces worth ₹2.5 lakh were stolen from Shiva temple.

The police have registered the case and Inspector G Balachandran and SI Binu Thomas have started the investigation.
