Kannur: While several organisations and individuals are voluntarily coming out to provide ration to the needy people, a couple here in Panoor are feeding stray animals amid lockdown due to coronavirus pandemic.
Following the instructions of Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan to provide food to birds and animals in lockdown, Nandanam Prakashan and his wife Sindhu are feeding dog’s everyday.
On a daily basis, Prakashan, who runs a Photostat shop in Pannaur junction visits Pannur fish and meat market to feed the stray animals.
The stray dogs of the area gather together after hearing the sound of Prakshan’s scooter.
Meanwhile, MRA bakery supported the couple by providing 10 chickens for feeding the dogs.
