Kasaragod: Mariam Ridha, a sixteen-year-old girl from Choori in Kasaragod district of Kerala, has made her mark in English literature with her anthology ‘The Light of Sparks.’ She has penned 56 poems including short and long ones over the past three years.
She has broken the norm that only elderly and matured people would be able to don the writing career with refined wisdom. Her vivid imagination and narrative skills lead the readers into her realm.
It is also remarkable that Ridha’s poetry is mostly based on topics and themes which are relevant at this time. The experiences and sights from her daily life form the essence of Ridha’s works.
