Idukki (Kerala): In Nedumkandam, Idukki, a ninth standard girl, and SPC Cadet Alina Varghese who helped a specially-abled child write the plus two examinations was rewarded by the school principal of Kallar Government School. The school principal had lauded Alina Varghese for her courage to help a specially-abled child with her exams when several others were reluctant to do so fearing the pandemic.

Now, Alina has set an example for all by donating the amount to the CM's Disaster Relief Fund by handing it over to Pampadumpara Panchayat Member CV Anand.
The Panchyat member appreciated Aleena's noble gesture and hailed her as a role model and motivation to many young minds in contributing their part to CM's Disaster Relief Fund.

Keralites are determined to join hands in order to curb the Covid 19 pandemic. Right from small kids to age-old people, many have come forward voluntarily and are contributing to the CM's Disaster Relief Fund (CMDRF) to enable free Covid vaccination for all in the state.
Though Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan had already assured free vaccines to all in the state, people have come forward and are contributing as much as they can.
This campaign gathered momentum after some social media users had made their contribution to the CMDRF.
