Kerala: National Commission for Women (NCW) wrote a letter to the Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan asking to ensure the safety of complainants in Bishop Franco Mulakkal case.

The two nuns - Sister Neena Rose and Sister Ranit Pallasseril complained to the NCW that they have been directed to leave their convent in Kottayam district of Kerala.

Alleging further, the sisters said that the transfer was aimed to sabotage the case, which was under trial and also to threaten the complainant as they were the key witnesses in the case.

They also expressed fear for their life, if transferred to other regions.
