Thrissur: As the local body elections in Kerala is scheduled on December, political campaigns and preparations are getting heated up. The candidates are challenged with the COVID protocol as the dissemination of their political agenda is constrained.
Election Commission has directed political parties and candidates not to indulge in any rallies, mass gathering to woo the voters. As part of the COVID regulations and the protocol, processions and house visits are regulated.
Meanwhile, a virtual studio in Thrissur district of Kerala has come up with a digital solution. The studio facilitates speech delivery of candidates similar to that witnessed during the campaign. The studio envisions to utilize social media platforms for election campaigns.

As per the requirements of the candidate or the political party, the promises on developments, analysis of the present administration in the local body, achievements, statistics would be added to the video through a green screen facility.
The event management company, Daksh was started 10 years ago." Owing to COVID-19 we did not have any work. Later, we organized a virtual conclave. As it turned successful, we have set up the virtual studio," said Dhishan Chandran, owner of the studio.
"The virtual studio will be a solution for the election campaign woes. Any candidate who is interested may utilise the studio facility for Rs 6000 per hour. Several candidates and political parties have responded positively about the studio," he added.
