Malappuram: A Class 4 student in Kerala has developed 60 mobile applications after her parents trained her in coding and mobile applications during the lockdown.
Ishal who lives in Malappuram district is familiar with website development and she springs up to code when her siblings want new mobile applications for gaming. "I work on my ideas when my brother and sister ask me to develop mobile applications. They become very happy after I develop it," said Ishal. Her inclination towards arts has helped her in drawing necessary digital images for background in games and applications.
Ishal's expertise in coding is on par with professionals in the field. Her parents - Aiysha and Shahid work in the educational tech sector. Shahid said the children are now heading towards a technology-driven future, so we showed them how to develop mobile applications.
At times, we use the applications developed by Ishal at our institution. Often, parents are worried about children spending a lot of time using the phone. Rather, one should focus on how to utilise the time to boost their productivity, he said.
Ishal is a student of Nilambur Peeves Model school and she dreams of becoming an artist.
