Kollam (Kerala): Eggs and lemon were found in the yard of UDF candidate Ullas Kovur. The eggs and lemon were placed on a banana leaf at the foot of a mango tree near a well in Ullas' backyard.

On a closer look, it can be seen that the egg is wrapped in a red thread. On one side of the egg 'enemy' is written and on the other side, the word 'Om' is written.
UDF workers alleged that this is black magic and it was done to defeat Ullas. However, the UDF candidate reacting to the issue Ullas laughed off.

Ullas Kovur says that someone may have done this as a joke. Especially with April Fool and all around, maybe someone has done something funny, said Ullas.
"I don't think political opponents will do something like this against me," he added.

However, LDF independent candidate Kovur Kunjumon said that he does not want to win with the help of black magic, as the constituency is an LDF bastion and that the party has won the constituency for the last four times.
