Mangaluru (Karnataka): The Customs officials at the Mangaluru International Airport seized 851 grams of gold valued at around Rs 39.48 lakh, from a woman passenger.
Fousia Misriya Mohideen Kunji from Cheroor village in Kasaragod district in Kerala was nabbed by the Customs officials after she arrived from Dubai on an Air India flight with her husband and four children.
The gold was found hidden in the woman's clothing.
