Coffee shop manager critical after assault by customer

The manager of a Cafe Coffee Day outlet in Kasturi Nagar in Bengaluru was violently assaulted by a customer over the use of a washroom at the coffee shop. The manager has been hospitalised and is in a critical state.

Bengaluru (Karnataka): A man has been accused of a near-fatal attack on a Cafe Coffee Day manager in the Kasturi Nagar area of Bengaluru city.

A clash between a customer and the manager over the use of a washroom turned into a near-fatal incident. The incident happened at 9 pm on Monday night.

The manager questioned the customer over his inappropriate behaviour which led to a clash. The manager was viciously assaulted by the customer.

The manager lodged a complaint at the Ramamurthy Nagar police station and was later admitted to a private hospital. His is said to be in a critical state.
