Veerabhadraswamy Temple is a symbol of inter-religious harmony

Diversity and religious harmony in our land have been a tradition for many years. A Hindu temple built by a Muslim person stands as a fresh example of such religious harmony. Saiyad Sadat, at his own expense, in the village of Sante Moghenahalli, in the district of Channapatna in Ramanagara district, has built a Hindu temple.

Channapatna (Karnataka): Saiyad Saadat, believes that money is not important but rather reconciliation. He is a model to others by building Veerabhadraswamy Temple in Sante Mogenahalli village in Channapatna taluk. There is also a mosque inside the premises of the temple, which is a symbol of peace.

Saiyad Saadat has built Hindu temples despite being a muslim

Syed, who went ahead with the construction of this temple in 2010, said that the idea of building the temple was given by Lord Shiva in a vision. Moreover, he has distributed thousands of free food kits to people facing the brunt of the Corona pandemic.

Hindu spiritual leader Shivakumara Swami inaugurated the temple. Syed has great respect for Hindu festivals and is working day and night in the district for harmonious social life.

He has even started building the Basaveshwara Temple at Channapatana city. Another speciality of this village is that Hindus attend Muslim festival and Muslims attend Hindu festivals.

People like Syed Saadat stand out as a model in this era of communal riots. The selfless service he is doing is truly commendable.
