Bengaluru: An investigation launched by the Internal Security Division (ISD) into the Sandalwood drug rackets revealed that a woman rowdy-sheeter named Rani was peddling drugs to television actors. The ISD has launched a search to arrest Rani.
According to officials, Rani has connections with all the gangsters in the city. Many police cases, including murder, attempt to murder and threat, are filed against Rani at several police stations in Bengaluru.
The ISD has possession of a video of Rani consuming drugs. Drug peddlers and television actors who were already arrested in the case revealed Rani's name. Based on the video and their statements, ISD has expedited the investigation.
