Udupi(Karnataka): A Persian boat that went fishing in the Arabian Sea sank in water in Karnataka's Udupi.
The boat, named Hanumantha Tirtha belonging to Srikanth Putran, faced technical problems in the midst of the sea.
A deep-sea fishing boat that left Malpe Fishing Harbour early in the morning on Tuesday capsized in the Arabian Sea some time later. However, the local fishermen rushed to the spot and rescued the people in the sinking boat.
Hanumarthi boat has gone fishing after filling six thousand litres of diesel in the Malpe port.
The matter was immediately relayed to the Coast Guard of Saint Mary's.
The stakeholders have reported a loss of about Rs 1 crore 20 lakh in the accident.
