Mandya: Doctors at a government hospital in Karnataka's Mandya have successfully removed a 4-kg tumour from the stomach of a woman on Tuesday.
4-kg tumour removed from woman's stomach
The operation, live footage of which is available with ETV Bharat, took place on Tuesday and lasted for around one and a half hour at Srirangapatna Government Hospital.
The 40-year-old woman, namely Thulasi had been complaining of mild pain and swelling in her stomach regularly. Her family got a primary checkup done where a large mass was discovered.
The team of doctors comprised of Dr. Maruthi, Dr. Mahesh and Dr. Kumar. Doctors said the patient is stable after surgery and is recovering satisfactorily.
